On December 5th, Mrs. Zhao Yanbing and her group of 36 Malaysian High School Principals visit our university. The symposium is held in the fifth conference room of the Yanta Campus. Vice President Chen Junbin attends the symposium, together with representatives of professors from Petroleum Engineering College, School of Economics and Management, College of Humanities, and Head of College of International Education.
Vice President Chen Junbin remarks in his speech that our university, as a university featuring petroleum and petrochemicals, a Chinese preparatory education alliance for overseas students, and a member university of the “One Belt and One Road Training for Schools and Enterprises”, has a good cooperation foundation with all levels of education in Malaysia.He hopes to further develop our university's successful practice in the "One Belt, One Road" international talent training, and continue to expand the educational cooperation with the Malaysian schools under the platform of the China Foundation Education Alliance, and cultivate more "One Belt, One Road" internationalized talents for China and Malaysia.
Mrs.Zhao Yanbing says that she is very grateful for the warm reception of Xi'an Shiyou University and meticulous arrangement of the CCN Malaysia High School Principal's Teacher Group. This CCN's visiting is one of the annual promotion plan in Malaysia, through field visits, hopes to deepen the understanding of CCN member universities for Malaysian high school principals and Chinese teachers,and will better guide and help Malaysian students to choose their majors in China.
At the symposium, the representatives of the Petroleum Engineering College,College of Economics and Management, the College of Humanities, and the head of the CCN Foundation Center conducted in-depth communication and exchanges opinions on the professional characteristics, training direction, curriculum, and teacher qualifications. After the symposium, the delegation visited the Preparatory Center, the University History Museum, the Iron Man Museum, the Library, and the Yifu Engineering Training Center on the Mingde Campus and the Main Campus.
The CCN Preparatory Center of Xi'an Petroleum University was established in June 2017. At present, it has received and trained more than 400 people from more than ten countries including Russia, Tajikistan, Kazakhstan, Thailand, Malaysia and Uzbekistan.
