On the morning of Nov.20th, Mr.Ahmed, General Counselor of Nigerian Petroleum Technology Development Foundation(PTDF) and his entourage 3 people pay a visit to our university. The symposium was held in the 1st meeting room of Yanta Campus Conference Center, while Vice President Chen Junbin attends, together with heads of relevant colleges.

Vice President Chen Junbin briefly introduced the progress of the first batch of international Master students studying in English program which was carried out by the two parts. He remarks that this program is another innovative exploration on expanding talents cultivating between China and foreign countries, to which our university pays a great attention and looks forward to enhance communication to promote the program smoothly implemented as planned, and our university will get ready to arrange each teaching program so as to assure international students of the program achieve their degree successfully.

At the meeting, the two parts made a productive discussion on teaching arrangement, curriculum settings, teachers and funding etc concrete issues of the international students in the program.

At present the first group of 13 Master students in the program selected by PTDF have complete their admission procedure, while being studied the first semester basic courses, according to the training plan, in the postgraduate period. Moreover, each training school selects and allocates excellent English tutor team according to the majors to carry out the training task.
