On November 14, the first International Forum on Energy and Green Development and Innovation was held in the Academic Report Hall of Yanta Campus. The theme of the forum is “Sustainable Development of Oil and Gas Resources and Environment in 2018”. More than 70 international experts from Canada, Sweden, Australia and other domestic research institutes, enterprises and institutions, and more than 200 representatives from teachers and students of our university attended the forum. Li Hua, vice president of our university, attended the opening ceremony. Wang Wenzhen, Dean of the university of Chemistry and Chemical Engineering, presided over the opening ceremony.
In his speech, Vice President Li Hua welcomed the people from all walks of life who attended the conference and introduced the development history and basic conditions of the university. He said that the forum focused on "energy and chemical technology under the concept of sustainable development", "environmental protection of oil and gas fields", "efficient use of fossil energy and new energy resources" and "sustainable development of oil and gas resources throughout life cycle". It aims to build an international exchange and cooperation platform for experts, scholars and related companies in the field to share results, discuss issues and explore cutting-edge technology.
At the forum, Professor Ghani Razaqpur, academician of the Canadian Academy of Engineering, and thousands of foreign ministers of the Central Organization Department, Professor Henry Radamson, a foreign expert of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, and Professor Huang Jinhui, the Joint Research and Development Center for Water and Environmental Safety of the University of Nankai, Professor Zhao Li'an of CEPro Energy Group of Canada, China Wu Baichun, senior engineer of Petroleum Group Safety and Environmental Protection Technology Research Institute, deputy chief engineer of CNOOC Tianjin Chemical Industry Research Institute, Lv Binchang, chairman of Shandong Kerui Oilfield Service Group Co., Ltd., Professor Jia Hanzhong of Northwest Agriculture and Forestry University, Professor Wang Wei of Chang'an University and our university Ten experts including Prof. Qu Bianzhen from the university of Chemistry and Chemical Engineering gave a keynote speech. The participating experts fully discussed how to effectively use energy resources, vigorously protect the natural environment, and accelerate the green development of energy and chemical industry. The participants benefited a lot. The closing ceremony of the forum was concluded by Professor Zhao Li'an of CEPro Energy Group of Canada. She said that the forum adheres to the concept of "scientific and technological innovation, green development", based on the actual development of oil and gas fields, with an international perspective and a strong academic atmosphere.
