On the afternoon of July 30, the work of relocating the administrative main body of our university to the Huyi Campus was successfully completed, marking the basically in-place adjustment of the functional layout of the university's three campuses. This is not only a practice of implementing the school-running philosophy of “student-oriented”, but also a means to optimize the allocation of school-running resources and gather development momentum. It will lay a solid foundation for building a scientific and efficient school-running system, activating the vitality of education, and improving the quality of school-running. Since then, the university has entered a brand-new stage of high-quality development.
In March, 2025, XSYU established a special working group for university spatial layout optimization, taking the restructuring of the functional layout of the three campuses as the core task in the reform of optimizing the allocation of school-running resources. Chang Jiang, Secretary of the Party Committee of the university and President Wang Jinfu have emphasized on multiple occasions that the relocation of the XSYU administrative main body to the Huyi Campus is a major measure for the university to accelerate high-quality development. They required the special working group to focus on the goals of “scientific layout, efficient collaboration, and service for education”, and ensure that all work arrangements are implemented and achieve tangible results. The special working group has held multiple rounds of dispatching meetings, coordination meetings, and promotion meetings, conducting on-site coordination on key tasks such as the overall planning of office spaces, the upgrading of infrastructure, and the connection of cross-campus services. Through effectively fulfilling the responsibility list, working backwards from the project schedule, and promoting the efficient completion of preliminary work such as the construction of key projects, solid guarantees have been provided for the relocation.

On the morning of July 11th, the relocating ceremony marking the administrative body's arrival at the Huyi campus was held in front of the main office building on the Yanta campus. Party Secretary Chang Jiang, President Wang Jinfu, and Vice-President Zhao Jian attended the event, along with representatives from various departments. At the ceremony, Wang Jinfu expressed gratitude to all the officials and staff who participated in this year’s move. He emphasized that the administration’s relocation to the Huyi campus is a major initiative aimed at thoroughly implementing the spirit of the Third Party Congress of the Communist Party of China in XSYU, diligently addressing the requirements for the education quality assessment, swiftly advancing the function positioning of the Huyi campus as the main campus, and enhancing the quality of college education.

During the relocation process, the school leaders were fully engaged, monitoring and guiding related work on multiple occasions. The departments exhibited great attention, proactive action, and close coordination, diligently overcoming the effects of high temperatures to efficiently complete tasks such as the transportation of office equipment, the sorting and arrangement of archives and documents, and the optimization and tidying up of the new workplace. This demonstrated the strong sense of responsibility, decisive execution, and good working style among our faculty and staff, further igniting the passion for productive work across the entire campus and fostering a harmonious and dynamic atmosphere of striving for progress.
From this new historical starting point, XSYU will seize upon the opportunity presented by the administrative body's relocation to the Huyi Campus to fully unleash its disciplinary specialties and advantages. It will further optimize resource allocation and academic disciplines, strengthen interdisciplinary innovation, and integrate reforms in educational, scientific, technological, and human resources systems. With an even more high spirit, XSYU will serve the national energy security strategy and the local economic development with renewed vigor, writing a new chapter in its journey towards becoming a high-quality teaching and research university.
