Our graduate students participate in the "2018 ASTU Sino-Russian University Micro-Nano Satellite Workshop"

From April 21st to 25th, our university sent Sun Shaohua from the school of Computer Science and Yi Peng from the school of Mechanical Engineering to the Harbin Institute of Technology to participate in the "2018 ASTU Sino-Russian University Micro-Nano Satellite Workshop". This is the first time for our university to send students to participate in the ASTU satellite study activities.

The event was hosted by the Heilongjiang Provincial Department of Education and the China-Russia Engineering University Alliance (ASTU), and jointly hosted by Harbin Institute of Technology and Bauman State Technical University in Moscow. 150 teachers and students from 26 Chinese and Russian universities in the Sino-Russian Engineering University Alliance (including 18 Chinese and 8 Russian) exchanged Chinese and Russian micro-nano satellite frontier technologies, and the Russian Federation astronauts vice president, RKKE Aerospace Deputy Director of the Center, astronaut Pavel Vinogradov and Chinese astronaut Liu Boming jointly discussed the frontier issues in the aerospace field.

The event is based on the "Qingdao Declaration" signed by the Second China-Russia Engineering University Alliance in June 2013 and the first Sino-Russian Science and Technology Innovation Forum. It aims to encourage young students from China and Russia to jointly develop microsatellites, with the help of China and Russia. The two countries' synergies in the aerospace field are collaborative innovation.
