On the morning of April 19, 2018, our university held a grand opening ceremony at the Hongshi Auditorium of the Huyi District, which was held at the opening ceremony of the “Love with Siam·Meet within XSYU-- Sino-Thai Cultural Exchange Experience”. Director of the Education Department of Sarajevo, Thailand, Vera Pende De Cai, Director of the Second Education District of the Ministry of Education of Thailand, Latima Panitcha, and Director of the Special Education Bureau of the Ministry of Education of Thailand, Su Da Su Shi, Education of Shaanxi Province Zhao Wei, deputy director of the office, and Qu Zhan, president of our university, attended the opening ceremony. A delegation of 17 Chinese university presidents, 172 Thai teachers and students participating in the experiential activities, and more than 100 teachers and students from the university of Humanities participated in the series. Vice President Chen Junbin presided over the ceremony.

In January 2018, our university signed a cooperation agreement with the Ministry of Education of Thailand and the Education Department of Sarajevo to deepen the all-round cooperation between our university and Thai educational institutions in academic exchanges, cooperative research, and teacher exchanges.
