From January 25th to February 1st, the president of the university, Qu Zhan, visited the delegation of Thailand and Myanmar to discuss the joint training of international students, international promotion of Chinese language, university-enterprise cooperation and other local education authorities, institutions, middle schools and enterprises. In-depth consultations and signing of cooperation agreements have resulted in a number of substantive results.
On behalf of the president, Qu Zhan signed a tripartite cooperation agreement with the Ministry of Education of Thailand and the Education Department of Bangkok. According to the agreement, the education departments of the Ministry of Education of Thailand and the Education Department of Bangkok will send about 200 international students to our presidents for short-term study each year. Our university will also send Chinese international education teachers and students to teach in Thai high schools every year.
Afterwards, the delegation has visited various educational institutions such as the Agricultural University of Thailand, Spartan University, Bambard Middle university, and Dala High university, and has conducted university referrals and cooperation negotiations.
The delegation also visited oil companies such as Yanchang Petroleum (Thailand) Co.Ltd., PetroChina China-Myanmar Pipeline Company, and Myanmar Northern Petroleum Company, and conducted the above-mentioned oil companies on the development of the university and the development status and prospects of international oil companies in Thailand and Myanmar. Introduce and give full play to the academic advantages of the university, serve the national energy strategy and the needs of the localized employees of international oil companies, and carry out in-depth exchanges and communication between the university and enterprise joint personnel training and professional technical training.
